First and foremost I shall introduce myself.

I'm a makeup artist based on Mexico, trying to find my way to success. I'm in my late 20's and have an engineering background. Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know. But what can I say? I like playing with brushes and painting faces as much as I enjoy getting my hands dirty playing with hammers and nails (swear to God, no pun intended).

You most likely, won't find me praising the Kardashian team (I don't have anything against them, my guilty pleasure is watching KUWTK) but I'm not very fond of their trends in neither fashion nor makeup.

My blog has all the intent on defying the so called "rules of makeup", which to be honest, I find utterly stupid. Why? Because it limits creativity and adaptability. Here, you won't find tag lines like "10 things you shouldn't do when contouring". You will only find guidelines, which you can try in diverse ways so YOU can make your own opinion and choose how to adjust them to your liking and desire.

I know most people like following a recipe, a step-by-step, but like I said, it leaves no room for creativity.

My plan is writing mainly about makeup, but I'll probably have the occassional outburst of spontaneity and bring fashion and style onto the table.
